Do not be suprised by the price guys this place is absolutely worth it! The portions are huge and the flavour is absolutely incredible. Erisa bought the food out to us and she was very welcoming and accommodated us really nicely. So we were a family of 8 and we got the family chicken platter, Hong Kong loaded noodles and the Birria tacos. We could not get enough of the hong John noodles and the birria tacos! We could’ve done with just 3 Hong Kong noodles and 4 birria tacos!

Dinner at Umami was nothing short of a feast! The portions? Absolutely massive—definitely not a place for light bites. I went for the Bubble Wrap (medium hot) and fell in love at first bite. The spice level was just right, and the flavors? Chef’s kiss! The Birria Tacos were juicy, flavorful, and everything you want in a taco—especially when dipped in that rich, savory broth. And let’s not forget the Umami Burger, which was a flavor bomb of its own. Everything was paired with Peri Peri Fries(because spice makes everything better) and washed down with the Infinity Tap—because unlimited drinks are always a win! Big portions, bold flavors, and serious food coma after—10/10, would absolutely do it all over again!

The food here was great here! We went to Portsmouth for the weekend, and was recommended this place by our hotel for good food. It was so good, we returned the following day to try out other items on their menu. The staff were very friendly and the seating inside is reasonable for families and individual groups. When we placed our order, we ordered several kids' meals and the staff mentioned that they had a promotion on whereby kids eat free when adults pay - this was a huge bonus for us as we were happy to pay full price! They have bottomless drinks and they offer a variety of items on their menu. I enjoyed their peri peri chicken, the burgers tasted ok, but were big! My favourite dish has to be the Hong Kong Loaded (stir fried noodles pictured) - this is a must try! The flavours were spot on and the fusion was greatly executed with this dish. They also offer a loyalty card, so can earn a few free dishes if you come here often.

Always a great experience at Unami. Has become a tradition to come here for food when we go to gigs in Southsea. Big fan of the Lebanese salad which is loaded up with plenty of halloumi. Husband loves the burgers and rosemary fries. Milkshakes are also great.

Great food the portions were more than enough for us to share with our toddler. The dessert was not the best though, it was good aesthetically but average on taste.

Very nice food. Party of 4 and we all ordered something different yet the food was great for each of us. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend. Can’t say much about atmosphere as we went when it was fairly quiet. Seating was decent too.

The food is super duper yummerz. The staff r so lovely. The best. She let us bring a cake in for our friends bday and the waitress was so nice and friendly! Birria tacos r so brilliant. So was the primal burger. The milkshake is sooo yummyyy and the plantain jerk chicken was like a trip to Jamaica, mon. Bomboclart! Super flavorful and I don’t even need to use the loo after. Will come again. If there was 6 stars I would give it 6. If there was 7, I’d rate it 7. If there was 8, I’d rate it an 8.
